{REPLAY} Confidence Lab: Self-Directed Neuroplasticity Tools

In the interactive workshop, I walk volunteers through exactly how to do peripheral vision and bilateral stimulation, two self-directed neuroplasticity tools I learned from my mentor Melissa Tiers, author of the Anti-Anxiety Toolkit. In the book, Melissa states she intends to get the reader to learn these rapid techniques to rewire the brain FAST and, within minutes, experience a palpable shift in their bodies. Which is precisely what we did in Confidence Lab.

Planning Ahead: How to Make the Most of 2024

Now is the time to start taking stock of your contributions, so you can gracefully and assertively take credit for your wins and set the stage for your career advancement in conversations before, during, and after the mid-year review. (Or, if going elsewhere is the better answer, in a series of interviews you set up in the coming months.)

Confessions of a High-Strung High-Achiever

I used to be a high-strung, high-anxiety high-achiever who was convinced she wasn't achieving fast enough.

Got downtime on the job? I must be doing something wrong.

Got hired at a hedge fund? My job can't possibly be safe, because I don't know enough.

The Power of Your Language

The Patriarchs: 10,000 Year Perspective with Angela Saini

Angela joined me on the podcast to discuss the fascinating insights from prehistory -- yes, way before the invention of writing things down -- that debunk the myth that patriarchy is just "the way it's always been."

It's about going on a sober, science-backed journey through time, 10,000 years before modern civilization, to uncover the true roots of gender oppression.

A Reason to Not Buy Coaching From Me

I turned away a prospective client today. She’s someone who’d fit my “best fit client” profile (if you’d excuse the marketing speak). Smart, competent, promoted in the STEM field. A potential feminist hero 🦸‍♀️!

Slam Dunk Your Career: Tracy's Story

🏀 I am the Michael Jordan of coaching women into career ascension.
📈 I’m obsessed with repeated slam dunks into more clarity and confidence that get competent women promoted and better paid. Like my client Tracy.

How to Gain Perspective and Power When It Feels "Too Close for Comfort"

A client came to the session saying that she was having trouble advocating for herself at work because the issue felt like this (places palm over face) -- that she had no objectivity. The issue felt too close for comfort. She couldn't see the broader picture, and she felt stuck. If you can relate to this, try this technique I demonstrate in a 3-minute video tutorial.

The Thing We Didn't Know 20 Years Ago

20 years ago, we were graduating from Smith and had NO idea that we can grow in our careers faster than we thought possible WITHOUT
✅ Overworking
✅ Over-accommodating
✅ Or overthinking the whole thing.
Still working on that last one? You’re not alone.

What My Ancestors Told Me

We explore the profound connection between our foremothers' dreams and our contemporary achievements. We celebrate the legacy of women's liberation and the transformative power of financial freedom.
